Crisis narrowly averted!

My finances are one huge sinkhole right now - what with winter heating prices (oil), a nineteen year old, a household full of pets, bills piling up and becoming overdue, a dog that's done injured himself in an expensive manner....... but whatever, I've been there before and it'll take a few months but it will get sorted out. (thinking positive)

HOWEVER - I almost blew it in a big, big way. I logged into my bank account today to see if I had anything left to pay toward any more outstanding bills and discovered that the credit card I have through my back had a payment due. TODAY!!! Ayy! Got it in just under the wire and figured I'd better check out the other 2.... turns out one's due tomorrow (payment made today online means it will go through tomorrow, just in time) and another that's due on the 12th.

Whew! THAT was tooooooooo close for comfort! I don't really know when they're due 'cuz payments are always made way early. I can't BELIEVE I came that close. Freaked me right out, it did!!!

Thank god for online payments, that's all I'm sayin'!
