What is "Pit Zip Venting?"

I just bought a coat from Amazon and wonder what the fuck that means. I hope it isn't some underarm mesh shit.

1. A zippered vent

along the side seam at the underarm, can be opened and closed as needed.

2. It's a zipper under the arm pit, running a bit down under the arm,

that you can open or close for ventilation. I have it on my Marmot jacket, and it rocks.

It's pretty common in ski and snowboard jackets.

I kinda wish I had gotten a small, but medium isn't too big I don't think.

7. It is hard being 6' tall with the shoulders of a 12 year old boy.

A small would fit my chest but the bottom of the jacket would sit above my belly button. Sometimes it is impossible to win. At least it is easy to find pants.. 33" waist and 32" inseam.
