Nellie McKay! Where have I been?
I just heard this incredibly talented lady for the first time today. I was googling her because she did a tune on NPR which seemed a perfect compliment to the feminism issue- anyway she's just so fucking GREAT.

2. I saw her in person in concert in the Birchmere outside of DC
last year and she was GREAT. She's going to be there again soon too I think.

She has a new album out I believe.
