Anybody else being paid today but not having to work? |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-22-07 12:25 PM by Wcross
I work a rotating shift & today is my normal day off. Seeing as it is also a holiday I am being paid eight hours pay extra. It used to be 12 hours pay (because we do work 12 hour shifts) but they managed to change it to eight somehow.
ON EDIT- This means you will recieve an EXTRA check/extra pay over & above your normal earnings.

We get two days. Today and tomorrow. And they gave us half a day yesterday. Plus I took a few more days off for myself. So I am not going back until Tuesday.

7. One of my jobs is paying me today and tomorrow even though I won't be working either one |
|
I don't know if that qualifies since I would have had to do my job if it hadn't been a holiday. But I am getting paid as if I was at work when I am not.
