1. it is a fake
if you watch they are not going very fast, and the sound seems to be dubbed over the video, not a "part" of it.

Although the sound is indeed dubbed. The car was a Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9 (not too shabby itself), but the sound is from the director/driver's Ferrari 275GTB.

Lelouch was arrested after the film's first showing, but later released with no charges.
