It's fantastic and will make a HUGE difference in our heating costs. :bounce:
BEFORE: old fireplace, which wasted about 90% of whatever heat was generated:

AFTER: New woodburning insert, with a 2-speed blower that can heat up to 2000 sq ft!

3. Thanks, we are sooooo happy with it!!
We've been wanting to do this project for a long time. Not cheap, but money well-spent in the long run.

:hi:

4. the brochure also mentioned it could double as a cooktop for a kettle
I LOVE the fact we can heat the whole house on a couple o' logs and the blower, which only uses enough energy for a 60 watt bulb! Amazing.

I was a bit concerned about the paint color we'd chosen, honey-glo brown, but it ended up matching our decor perfectly.

We're stoked, to use an appropriate term! :)
