Do these colors go together?

My sister, when I told her I wanted to make a necklace for her, said she'd like teal or yellow. So I just got these. I'm not even sure if the blue beads are technically teal. And they're such an odd shape I'm not sure what I can do with them. So I got the gold beads (technically amber) just in case. But now I'm wondering if the two would look good together.

I don't know why I'm stressing over this. Suddenly I'm second guessing myself. But my sister has never seen my jewelry before, and I don't want what I make for her to be ugly.

What do you guys think?

2. I LOVE them.
But my fashion sense is notoriously poor.

Nonetheless, I think they are tres cool, and she can always wear them separately if she doesn't think they jibe well together.

3. My opinion:
I think the beads are more of a turquoise color and would prefer them with silver. I do like turquoise with yellow, but a paler yellow. Could you make her two different necklaces?

Sorry!

4. teal OR yellow or teal AND yellow --
does she like them together?

They're both strong colors -- I'd think if you were going to make a necklace, perhaps choose one of the above as dominant, and use the other as an occasional "pop" of color, or as a single centerpiece. See how gold or maybe even bronze or silver look as separators. Maybe even a pale wooden bead with the amber beads.

Hard to tell with the photo. Could be lovely together if you use the right emphasis, you know?

5. Good point. I was thinking of mostly the yellow with the occasional teal
and she wants gold findings, so maybe the gold bead spacers would be good. I can try it and if it sucks, I'll go with just yellow I think, with spacers/separators.

Mostly when I create, I have to make the piece, see if I like it, then take it apart if I don't.

Thanks for the help guys

6. I agree. The colors go together well - need the right balance, though.
