Crossroads Guitar Festival 07 on PBS
Amazing concert footage of many great guitar players at a live benefit put on by Clapton.
Anyone else see the show?

my favorite was Jeff Beck. His bass player does an amazing duet on this song:
"Cause We've Ended As Lovers" 7/28/07

1. I saw it on our local PBS last week
I've always loved Jeff Beck :-). I wonder if the bass player was his daughter! Thanks for the link, too.

It made me cry to see Johnny Winter.....but he still rocks.

3. The bass player is Tal Wilkenfeld, she is a 21 year old phenom from Australia
not hard on the eyes, either. Amazing player.

5. Phenom is right!
It would be great if they were touring. I'd go in a minute :-). One of my best concerts of all time was Jeff Beck playing in a little theater in downtown Pgh in 1972. I was in the front row :-).

6. I had a brain fart on her name.
Wilkenfeld, not Wilkenborn. DUH!

She's pretty damn amazing.

8. You Tube has a bunch of clips from Crossroads 07. I was saddened to see Johnny Winter too

9. They all get old, don't they? The show was great, though
Certain excellent players were new to me, like Sonny Landreth.

I still haven't seen the last half hour; I couldn't stay awake that long!
