Home alone
Miz t. and 'thuh girlz', AKA The Menopausal Mafia (their term), have gathered tonight, away from our own humble home and hearth.

They say it's their 'Annual Christmas Party', but I suspect they're hatching some nefarious plot.
And I'll bet credit cards are involved in some way.
That's their most popular accessory.

"I made some chicken salad and the bread's in the fridge. There are chips on the top shelf of the pantry. Are you SURE you'll be OK? I could go ahead and make you a sandwich before I leave."
"No, that's OK. I'll be just fine. Have a good time."

She doesn't remember that I was a bachelor for about 6 years before we met and she became responsible for my care and feeding.

I can usually find the Scotch on my own, so we didn't have to cover that.

I'll be just fine.
But not TOO fine.
Don't want her to get the idea that I don't still need care and feeding.
Maybe I'll leave the bag of chips out on the counter so she'll feel needed?
Yeah.
:-)

2. Man, my wife is always asking if I need something.
We watch tv at night and I move over to get a Kleenex or something, it's "What do you need, can I get it for you?" I like no, I was able to get stuff on my own before you came along. She acts like I hurt her feelings when I do stuff for myself.
