1. Oh, that sucks.
:(

I'm sorry.

It's good that he wants to play with you. It could be that he's bonding with you and considers you his play-buddy. But it would be really cool if you got the loving and purring too.
:)

4. my lil baby kitten is the same with me
I'm his play toy. I do work him up so its kinda my fault. But he also likes to lay with me to. And when I get home he gets so excited.

He screams MMMMMOMMMMMA........ and I just melt. Yes my pets speak to me. :)

5. I love that getting greeted when I get home...
See them come running with happitail if they're outside.

Riktor's little stretchy greet that looks almost like he's waving...with a yawn and a rub-
"Hi Mom, where ya been? Bring anything back for me?"

MacFeegle's practically throwing his sleek muscular 14 lbs at my ankles and around and around...(he don't say much unless he feels it's necessary to get my attention NOW)...

Wimsey does the "MAKE WAY FOR MOM!" only he gets behind and between and under my feet...

Esme is the smart one...jumps up on a chair closer to eye level and says "Here I am, PET ME NOW."
:grouphug:
All purring, all with happitail...all very glad to see me. Makes me feel kinda humbled, but good...and very glad to see them!

And they have a free-feed station, so it's not like their groceries ran out.

6. Important that kitty learns hands are not playthings. You must make a huge OUTCH
sound every time kitty starts to scratch you. Disrupt the little critters fun. The only way they learn. Trust me ... you don't want an adult cat who doesn't know that people are not toys to scratch.
