Watching Pitch Black on the Sci-Fi Channel. |

I have seen it about 5 times, but I just can't get enough of Vin Diesel. Actually, out all of his movies, this is his best role. I love the segment where he has a fight with the alien monster and kills it and then says, "He didn't know who he was fucking with." That was a real jewel.

3. No kidding, it made it into my textbook about film history |

Especially the overexposure. The opening sequence is great, I love how the pilot just dumps the passengers, you don't see a lot of that in film.

Probably Diesel's only good role. The characters are deep. The thing is spooky.
It could pass for a sci-fi and a horror movie.
The ending is so bittersweet. I'm hoping they make a sequel.
BTW, Farscape's Claudia Black does a good job in this film. I'm so glad that they're going to mini-series a finale for Farscape.

8. I liked him a lot in "Boiler Room" |

It was basically a supporting role, but a very interesting one. That might have been his first big role. Besides, he looks damn good in a suit!

Glad to see others do too. Vin really was great in this. I haven't been too interested in seeing him in his "action"-oriented films, but I really like this one.
