A special wish on Christmas.

I stood on the front steps in the cool breeze this morning and looked to the sky and sent out a strong desire for one wish for this day. I hope everyone who feels like it will join me and send out positive thoughts with me.

My one wish this day is that there is at least one soldier, in either Iraq or Afghanistan, who will not feel comfortable in a base dining hall this day with all the others. Who will gather up whatever he/she can and go out and share it with a family who has been displaced by all the violence this country has infused into their lives. One person who will bring the peace this day is supposed to represent into the lives of those whose lives have been torn apart.

Maybe if we all wish for this very, very hard there will be more than one. Maybe there will be one for each of us that make this wish.
