Does the fact that the losers get to go home instead of starve mean the winners are being good compassionate conservatives?

3. It's Pavlovian social conditioning on a mass scale

Reward people for picking (and identifying with) the person who can exclude the most.

But every 10 min, you are reminded you have a corporate friend "at McDonalds". So it can't be that anti-social.

People are being conditioned into shafting each other and trusting only corporations.
