Help! I'm drowning in chocolate!

This year I received pounds and pounds of chocolate for Christmas. Now, normally, I wouldn't complain. I love the stuff. But this is really excessive. The hubby and I are both teachers and between us we received two pounds of See's candy, four pounds of Belgian chocolates, one pound of French truffles "from France", one pound bar of pure Belgian chocolate, Trader Joe's chocolates, two pounds of Costco Belgian chocolate cups and chocolate dipped cookies from our students.

What will we do? It's only ten o'clock in the morning here in CA and I've already dipped into the See's.

1. We have bags and boxes...

of the stuff here too, plus about 10 dozen cookies leftover after giving away tins full for Christmas. At this point anyone who comes knocking gets a container shoved at them before they leave. I've whittled the chocolate supply down to two paper grocery bags and Mr. Green Meanie has been taking assorted trays to work every day.

My normal 20 minutes on the stationary bike each morning has been adjusted to 30 minutes a day in an attempt to offset the massive amounts of sweets I've been consuming. Honestly, no amount of exercise will help... I need to exorcise my chocolate demon!

Damn that almond & chocolate covered toffee!

I am too!:) Someone told me that the good stuff doesn't have any calories, so of course I had to test that hypothesis. The results have been very disappointing, but my tastebuds were in heaven!
