1. 41 in Baltimore. Downright Springtime! |
|
Snow is melting, and the air smells like Spring!
The Ice Witch will make her way back before it's over, though. Always does.

3. I miss Maryland! moved to Pennsyvlania for love. Md winters over my |

47 years there tended to be either very mild, or simply dumped with huge amounts of snow. That's how you get 'average' snowfall...mix of some all years and some nothing. Maryland is a great place!
Vote Dean and make it even better. I can't vote until April 27. I miss being in a Super Tuesday state

4. And I moved from CA to MD for love. |

:hi: neighbor! ;) I really do love Maryland. Have yet to visit Penna, but will probably do so this spring.
The way it's going, Deb, I fear it'll be over, thanks largely to the media, before our primary in March. Unless he's departed by then, I'll still be voting for the good doc.

6. Waldorf, Charles County |

Okay, not as rural as most of So. Maryland, but to a city gal, living where I have to drive 3 miles to the nearest gas station or grocery store, where I own my own home on more than an acre (which is mostly in trees), and where much of my mail is addressed to "Rural Route 9," it's pretty darn rural!
How about you?

7. I'm not in Maryland, but I'm from the area, have family there |
|
Still, after all these decades. If you take Indian Head Highway to South Capitol Street, on the DC side, that's where I was from. Some of my family is still scattered around there, particularly PG county.
But Waldorf. Is the Stardust Inn still there? My mother and sister now live directly on the other side of the Potomac from you, about a mile inland, in Prince William County.
Wave to them for me. And a big kiss to you from Paris, France.
