I've been listening to the Beatles on public radio most of the evening, including songs from the Ed Sullivan Show. I was just 5 at the time. What was all the fuss?? :)

TORONTO (CP) - "Ladies and gentlemen, The Beatles!"
Ed Sullivan barely managed to get those words out before the audience in the TV studio erupted cheering and screaming for the Fab Four.
The date was Feb. 9, 1964, and the Beatles were making their American debut on The Ed Sullivan Show, which was watched every Sunday night in the U.S. and Canada.
