1. Yeah... here too. We were only SUPPOSED to get...

a couple of inches total, but we're looking at 6-7" on the ground right now.

Our school district didn't call off school this morning, even though there was 4"+ on the ground at 6am, with more falling, and none but the major traffic arteries even touched by the highway department.

Oktoberain and i also missed our first day of our Tues/Thrs classes for this semester (roads so bad that the city bus didn't come within 1 1/2 miles of here), but we did have the forethought to e-mail the profs in those classes, so that they would understand that our absence was weather-related, rather than a lat-minute schedule change.
