"All Things Just Keep Getting Better"
That's my suggestion for the DNC theme song. What do you think? It's hip... it's upbeat... it's new... it's now! Kinda cool, kinda wow! (Charlie!)

-- Allen

P.S. Any other suggestions?

3. um . . . might not be the wisest move . . . politically, I mean . . .
no sense stirring up a hornet's nest any more than it's already stirred up, ya know? . . .

4. Let's kick the hornet's nest
I love the song, and think it's upbeat and fun. If the Republicans want to make hay out of its being on "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy," let 'em.

5. I agree
there was the Iowa Gay Choir at the Iowa Democratic convention (the one Hillary Hosted).

No harm in shaking up the boat. :-)

6. I love that song.
Bravo did a documentary type thing on the making of the video on "QEFSG". It looked liked so much fun to make.

I think this would be a perfect song for the DNC. I can't improve on it.

Bonus point....who was the woman who did the "Charlie" commercials? Remember???

:-)

7. I Saw That 'Behind-The-Scenes' Making Of The Video Also...

It did look like a lot of fun, and a lot of work, and long-long hours.

I'm not certain I understand the overly cautious approach that others might have for this song. That song is quite a bit different from songs like "So Many Men, So Little Time" or "It's Raining Men" or "I Am What I Am" or "YMCA" or "Macho Man".

It's the opening theme song for Queer Eye not the anthem for all of Queerdom. ;-) (That particular honor would go to the songs "Go West" or "Key West" or "Fire Island".)

-- Allen

P.S. I don't know who the Charlie-girl was.

8. Or "San Francisco"
Another gay anthem.

I agree with what you said. "All Things Just Keep Getting Better" is a theme(admittedly very nice tune) to a television show. It's not a celebration of homosexuality. It's about being a better you, for lack of a better word.

The Charlie girl was Shelly Hack. I remember those commercials.
