11. While we're clearing things up,

There are three types of football: Real Football, Canadian Football (which is what people who can't get a job in Real Football do) and Australian Rules Football, which is only on ESPN-Digital 8 late at night or something, and I'm not entirely sure it's not just a rumor.

That other thing you're thinking of is not football. It's called soccer, and it's a conspiracy on the part of parents to get small children to run around a lot so they'll sleep, and we can stay up late and watch movies with the f bomb in them and drink things that kill brain cells. It's not a sport, it's just more socially acceptable than feeding healthy kids a shitton of benadryl. I realize goofy foreigners might not realize that, but goofy foreigners also think that curling and badminton are actual sports, so their opinions really shouldn't be counted.

The only foreign sport that counts is hockey, because it involves beer, fighting, riots and other cool shit. So, being Americans, we appropriated it and liberated all the teams from Canada, and now good Americans can watch it (and with HDTVs bigger than me, they can see the damn puck.)

2. What you refer to as soccer is the most popular sport in the world. A full game of excitement. Kinda like hockey, but with a ball and good sportsmanship.

Yeah, having to rely on player skill really doesn't make much of a sport. Since many of the players come from the outreaches of nowhere, they have plenty of funny names.
