2. Haha. I used to drink Icehouse. $15.99 for a 30 pack
Then I decided to see what a moderately good beer would taste like. Heineken is $14.99 for a 12 pack. I'm torn.

65. It's an empty jar, for research purposes. :)
I was looking online to see if I could find more of that same brand. I brew mead, and since I just moved and no longer live near a store that carries that kind, I was looking to see if I could order it online.

Unfortunately they don't carry it in bulk, just in those mason jars. So it'll be a little more expensive than I'd like to keep using it. But if this batch of mead turns out really well, I might just bite the bullet and pay a little extra to keep using that kind of honey. :)

66. The only flight sim games I have installed right now
are space sims, I.E. the X-Wing series. And I gotta say... they made some poor design choices for X-Wing Alliance.

I've got a copy of Red Baron II laying around somewhere, but it's not installed right now.

I mostly bought it for game design purposes rather than game playing purposes. :) Same reason I bought the gamepad that's partly concealed behind the empty beer bottle. I've been toying with the idea of making a few flight sim type games, hence the joystick. And I'd recently been toying with the idea of trying out Microsoft's free X-Box game development software, hence the gamepad.

44. Okay, well first off, you definitely DO need more stuff on the walls.
Over the couch, you need a bigger picture, or a series of pictures. The one you have now is diminished by the size of the couch.

If you really like the picture over the couch, consider adding one on either side of it that is similar enough to match, but different enough to be interesting.

In the dining area, you might want to add posters or prints with color, especially reds and greens, as they go well will the beige.

Maybe something like this:

Or this:

I like this one:
http://www.farhorizon.com/europe/images-italy/sidewalk-cafe,-good_lg.jpg

Another thing is to consider a valance on the dining room window, again in red or dark green.

And, how about some more plants? I think they always add a nice bit of life to a room.

Those are just my initial thoughts.

One more thing. Would you consider painting even just ONE wall, like the one behind the couch?

51. The pic behind the couch is a sail boat scene on the open sea
I thought about trying to find other, smaller sail boat pics or possibly lighthouse pics to compliment it on either side. I could definitely go for more plants, but I don't know about painting the wall behind the couch. It seems like it would clash with the rest of the room. I agree with you about red and green themed pictures. I think they would go well with the current paint.

53. I think the lighthouse pictures sound great!
As far as painting the wall behind the couch, I'm thinking of something in the same hue, but a bit darker, just for contrast. Nothing dramatic.

I know this is a rather dark picture, but this is part of my livingroom. Just wanted to show you the balance of pictures above my couch.

I love Mucha, and found these prints at a local shop.

i got a TV but i dont have cable, and i cant get any local stations. (i live in the BFE)

I mostly use the TV as a proving grounds for Super Smash Bros and Super Mario Kart showdowns. (and DVDs)

Physical fighting is such a thing of the past......we can settle all disputes thru Mario Kart.

edit: spelling, and notice the purple stained plastic cup.....so redneck (and box wine too!)
