Poll question: How many broken bones have you had?
Inspired by the "How many stitches" thread.

I've never had a single broken bone, even when I should have.

2. I broke my big toe once
It hurt like heck! OWWW! I broke it trying to unfold a futon. They didn't put a real cast on it, because just a chip had broken off the bone.

3. Ouch!
Sounds painful..

I *should* have broken my little toe once. I kicked a door that was mocking me and I was barefoot.. I ended up kicking the knob and the way I hit it, I split my foot open between my pinkie toe and, uh, that toe next to it. How I didn't break a bone with as much flesh damage I did is beyond me.

5. I was 7 and a half months pregnant
when I broke my ankle and was on crutches for the next six weeks. That was an adventure. I got a lot of attention everywhere I went, and people would remember me. It was a little like being famous. Total strangers would walk up to me and say things like, "Didn't you have lunch yesterday at Byerly's?"

I was on a walking cast when my son was born, and got it off completely a week later.

8. I really don't know
I've never had a major, compound break.
I've had hairline fractures of fingers and toes. I'm a total klutz.

15. Gentlemen...
We can rebuild him. Stronger. Faster. More powerful. It's going to take 6 million dollars. At least. However so long as we bill it as a military project, it will be approved, we have a Republican in the White House. :D

Seriously though.. that sounds a might painful. I guess you are doing muuuuuch better now. I think if I had a broken bone I would be tranqed up on so many pain-killers..

18. Well lets see...
Left arm, collar bone, right arm, jawbone(some think that was good because I had trouble talking), orbital bone. These were not all at the same time though. Just three of them were at once, the left arm was a result of falling out of a tree, the collarbone was because a chain came off a bicycle. The others were a result of a damn bridge jumping out in front of my car. Several stitches, a few strains, sprains, cuts. Man its good to be old and sensible!

19. shall I count?
Tibia (x2) fibia, a bunch in my foot, nose, clavicle, kneecap, ankle, wrist, three fingers, a couple of toes and some ribs. I was an overly abitious skier in my wayward youth.
