Waiting for the axe to fall.
My whole department may or may not be eliminated in 30 to 60 days — we are waiting for some news at 1:00 pm. As you can imagine, morale sucks. Can't wait to join the New Bush Running-on-Fumes Economy of daytraders, real estate flippers, Avon ladies and mortgage application processers. Fuck you, George.

4. I am a graphic designer
I work in the marketing department of a large corporation. They may decide to outsource most or all of our (graphics area) work.

3. That sucks Slappy
I have been unemployed since May and my SO was booted out of Verizon after 26 years a year ago. Here's hoping you can dodge the bullet. We're with you.

5. sorry to hear that
Upper management makes poor decisions, they leave w/ their golden parachutes, and we pay the price. "Forward he cried from the rear, and the front line died."

6. I was an engineer once
After a 3 year vacation (prompted by a layoff) I/m now back to work, slinging pizzas. :nuke:

I now distribute resume's on business deliveries.

Hopefully your experience will vary.

Harrad.
