I got quoted in the papers at the caucus

They screwed my quote up a little, though - what I said was that I liked the whole field of candidates this time, and there was no question of having to vote for the lesser of two evils, because they were all good.

I went in there really hoping to be a delegate, and was thrilled to be picked. Then again, we had five available slots, and three people who wanted to do it, so it's not as if there was any competition for the slot. :eyes:

I'd like to go on as a delegate to the state convention, but that's highly unlikely - I think the whole 8th Congressional District gets something like 4 delegates. Maybe someday!

Maybe we'll see you on May 1st! Look for a small woman with hip-length red hair, accompanied by a big bearded blond bear. I'll probably be wearing buttons for all the candidates, along with my Impeach Bush and ACLU buttons.

Everyone wanted to know where I'd gotten it! It was VERY popular. Even Will Durst commented on it (I'm still kicking myself that I didn't think to ask Will Durst if he wanted to go get a beer. I've been stealing his lines for years, and he was HILARIOUS. It was a big thrill to get to meet him.)

I really wanted to be a Kucinich delegate, but he ended up with 13% of our precinct (basically, me), and a candidate has to have 15% to get a delegate. *sob* Dennis, I'm sorry - I tried! But I really do feel we have a whole slate of viable candidates here. No holding my nose for any of 'em.

I was also happy Dennis finished 3rd in Washington state. We love ya here, guy!
