7. he could have used a TENS device or something of that nature in perfect safety |
|
there are perfectly safe ways to play with these sensations, unfortunately, some folks would have no idea where to get that information and probably don't even know that other people play these games at all, so they try to re-invent the wheel, which is not a good idea when it comes to electricity

I raise my hand as I fit into both groups. And I don't even pretend to know/understand/empathize this kind of stuff.
Different strokes and all that... :P

11. Absolutely, there are plenty of devices that allow this kind of exploration |
|
in almost complete safety, this moron showed absolutely no intelligence about this kind of play at all.

23. "nothing above the waist" |
|
is the one rule I've heard about. It doesn't even take 115V as it's current and not voltage that can stop the heart.
A TENS or a Violet Wand can be safe and kinky so I've heard. Stripping the wires off a lamp cord ala Jack Bauer is FUCKING INSANE.

8. That's right...especially when it comes to electricity. |
|
Just the right amount can be tingly in just the right way, but the wrong equipment or the wrong amount of current can turn a fun night into the worst night of a person's life, or the last night.
Lesson: Research kinky ideas first, people. :P

The last thing you want to do is hurt yourself or your partner. There's good pain and there's bad pain. You've gotta know what you're doing.

It's one of those things where you either know what you are doing or face some pretty bad unexpected consequences.

A serial killer was kidnapping women, torturing them for days with electricity (using an outlet connected to wires)for his sexual pleasure before killing them.
But since it was about that and on Wednesday at 9 EST and they did this the same night it wouldn't surprise me. Can already tell the man isn't too smart.
edited for tense. Also the news story did make me think of Criminal Minds right off.
