and the VET thought I was joking |
|
we've been to the vet about every other week since thanksgiving...
upper respiratory infection for one cat, another cat had an infection in her eye, my (late) ratdog around Christmas, then back to the vet with the eye infection again and the other one with the respiratory infection... (these two cats are doing fine now)
I mentioned to the vet that maybe we should just set up a standing appointment...the vet laughed....
well, just when we thought it was safe to take the vet off speed dial - the big boy Gato is limping, left rear leg, he puts weight on it but he's walking very stiffly.... have appointment on wednesday afternoon...

1. Time to consider pet insurance |
|
It usually runs about $10 per month per pet, and the first serious illness can pay for itself in one vet visit.
Poor critters, I hope they're all recovered soon.

 for Gato & for you.
We feed a stray who's walking on 3 legs right now. Something wrong with one of his front paws. But he's feral. When the weather warms up, we're going to trap him for neutering and ask the doc to check out that paw.
