I got a cell phone bill from them today. $150 plus $10 in taxes and fees just to cancel their service.
I was under the impression that when I got the service in December 2002, it was for a 1 year contract. Not 2 year. I know it was one year because for one month, I was paranoid I would lose my job and wonder what they'd do...
Time for me to call them... this is insane.
Verizon has a 2 year contract. This I'll also remember eternally because I'm paranoid about losing my job and I'll wonder what I'll do... :-)

My greatest thrill in life was when I booted their ass (my Sprint landline that was gouging me $50 just to have a line in my house).
Last March I signed on with Vonage.com (VoIP) Now I have a plan that allows me to call anywhere US Canada, AK/HI/anytime, for as long as I want for $39/mo. I added a toll-free number too. Europe is 4 cents a minute.
How smart am I? :D
