Talk about attitude. Talk about original. Miho and Yuka...in Cibo Matto and their offshoot band Butter 08...are l-o-n-g overdue for a new CD.

Miho did some time with the ska/dub/dancehall group "Gorillaz" and had a hit with "Clint Eastwood," but it was no substitute for songs like "Blue Train," "Mono Lisa" or "Butterf**cker"...

I'd love to hear them do U2's "Bullet The Blue Sky"...I truly believe that Miho could "out-Bono" Bono himself.

"...and outside, it's America..." She could pull it off, folks!

saw them open for Yoko Ono in Central Park
John Zorn played just before them.
then Cibo Matto and Zorn sat in with Yoko's band
WOW.

not sure if they're still playing together, but individually they're doing projects in the jazz scene at the Tonic in New York City.

4. Looks like you're right...
Yuka has a solo CD called "Memories Are My Only Witness," Miho has the "Smokey and Miho" that you mentioned.

Still worth following, collectively or individually...thanks for the info!
