Amy Winehouse’s husband sends a letter to his dad, from prison, about Amy's $1000 per day coke habit

Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil sent a letter from prison to his father. Blake refers to his dad as “Daydream” because of his laid-back attitude and shares his fears that Amy will die before he gets out of prison. He’s hoping rehab will get her off coke and crack which they used to do $1000 worth of everyday, according to News of the World:

"I want Amy to grab this opportunity in rehab so we can have a marriage and future together. Because the way she's going I really fear I will come out of prison to no wife.
"I dread my cell door being opened and the chaplain informing me, ‘Amy's dead.'
"I have that nightmare three or four times a week.

I’m assuming $1000 worth of blow is a lot. I dunno, I’m more of a meth man. Anyway, if I ever called my dad “Daydream,” he’d chain me to the garage door then hit me repeatedly with his truck. He prefers “Buttercup.”

...I think her situation is sad and tragic.

I'm a little dismayed that a letter sent from the husband to his father about her personal life made it into the media.

I see Britney Spears and I see someone who is pampered and coddled and whose ass is still regularly kissed and one way or another that's how things will remain.

But I see Amy and I see a woman with her foot on the pedal, pressed to the floor, headed straight for a brick wall.

She's supposedly in rehab. Let's hope it works.

maybe the Brooklyn Bridge, as part of some Fourth of July "War on Terrorism: Mission Accomplished" extravaganza in New York Harbor in front of the Statue of Liberty hosted by Clay Aikens and the other talentless fuck winners from American Idol, along with Adam Sandler and David Schwimmer and K-Fed, who will all be electrocuted to death in an "accidental" microphone incident engineered by Justin Timberlake, who will also be killed in the "accident" but not before his penis is shorn off on live TV, netting CBS and the show's sponsor, Thomas Kinkade Gallery, a bajillion dollar fine which leaves the executives of both companies (and Thomas himself) as thoroughly awful suicide victims the next morning, and and then we can go back to our lives, never having to hear of either of those wastes of flesh again.
