Honestly, your best bet is probably to call a repair tech. They're reasonably complex machines, especially newer models, and if it's just a minor problem you might wind up spending a lot more than you have to if you start jiggling the works.

5. Preaching to the choir, I tells ya!
Haven't had access to a dishwasher in many years. I find it to be one of the more overrated home appliances, in fact.

8. Not at all. The heat they generate kills a lot of nasty bacteria. Oh, and another thing:
ibtl, sexy. ;) (watch movie to get that!) :D

6. Do what we do, just wash the dishes by hand.
We don't have a dishwasher or dryer.

7. My dear Orrex!
You got that right!

Mine recently had a series of problems, and after a couple of trips out, those problems vanished...

For those folks who don't want/never had a DW...

You don't know what you're missing!

I probably spend as much time as you do cleaning up after dinner, but my work is less intense...

And the DW gets the grease off the pans and the plastic things much more readily than I can!

I would not be without my dishwasher!

:toast:
