1. I don't think you fully comprehend the meaning of this word "pleasure." |

A great cheeseburger is a labor of love resulting in an edible work of art.
Canned!?!?! Pfffffft.

5. The best burger that I've ever had |
|
was one made with Waygu beef (think Kobe without it being raised in Japan) with a black truffle aioli - I made them for dinner last night and they were tasty!
I tried them with a sharp cheddar but the cheese overwhelmed the Waygu.

It looks like this is designed for back-packers. Just what we need: more "convenient" packaging to either litter our trails or get schlepped out to contribute to the landfill. Whatever happened to jerky and trail mix?

10. I wouldn't make it a core part of my backpacking menu, |
|
but I think it would be awesome to pull one of these out halfway through a long trek. Those unusual/special meals scattered through a trip can be a lot of fun. (Assuming it tastes anything at all like a cheeseburger.) Anywy, I'm off to figure out where I can order that dehydrated red wine...

4. I wouldn't go camping with it, but I might see how people would stock |
|
some in a storm shelter perhaps.

7. They still require water and heat to prepare |
|
I would go with my canned meats that can be eaten cold if necessary. Cold canned burger, blech!

8. yeah, still, we're not talking long-term fallout shelters. Many storm shelters |
|
I've seen have cans of sterno and lots of water. I do agree with you, in essence, just saying that a storm shelter seems better than a backpack.

9. Point well taken, I'll probably even try one of these |
|
if I can get my hands on one, I am adventurous when it comes to food.

6. I could've used those when I was in the army. |
|
Looks much better than the MRE's I had, and better than the Lunch Buckets I took to avoid eating MRE's.
