I had a free lunch at a brand new restaurant today!
:woohoo:

The restaurant was not "open for business" yet, but they were training the new employees, and my friend and I just happened to show up, so our meals were comped, so they could train the staff.

1. My dear KitchenWitch!
How cool is that?

If you go back, then they'll be so happy!

What kind of food was it?

:woohoo:

2. Pasta!
The restaurant is called Pastagina. You get your choice between different types of pasta (spaghetti, penne, and fusilli) and 10 different sauces. Very similar to Macaroni Grill.

It was delicious. I had a salad with my Fusilli Bolognese.

4. I would love to take you there.
It is about 2 miles from where I live.

We were talking to the manager there today, and apparently there are a few other locations, one in DT LA, one in the Beverly Center, and one in Monterrey Park.

Oh, and the prices were very reasonable. $6.50 - $7.50 per plate. Additional $2.50 for a combo which includes a salad, a beverage, and (I believe) Asiago garlic toast.

5. OK!
My gas will probably cost me more!

One of these days, OK?
