I think we need a lounge fundraiser to buy lint rollers for the Midlo family's visit to flvegan's. |
|
Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 01:43 PM by LeftyMom
As I know from sad personal experience, flvegans' dogs and other animals (at last census, he had approximately 6 million dogs, four cats and one rabbit) shed. A lot. As in, I'm not terribly sure what color his sofa is under all that dog hair.
Since Midlo has three kids to put through college, a husband with heart trouble and her own substantial wine and gambling expenses to deal with, I think as a community we need to look into her dog hair defense needs. At the very minimum, a case of lint rollers, but we should consider the possibility of just burning the clothes she wears down there and starting over with new ones, because in the long run it might be cheaper.
I think if we all pull together we can do this.

You said the magic word.
You win one (1) flvegan. Winner accepts all taxes, legal fees and traffic fines associated with prize. A cash prize may not be substituted. Winner is stuck. Ha ha.

:in best whiny voice: Mom, this is my last spring break with the family, EVER!! We should go someplace.
And, Mr. probably because of all the brain damage decided that since he's going to FL anyway for a meeting, we should ALL go and visit Disney World because BabyMidlo doesn't remember it.
I wonder what time the bars open down there?

16. I think the bars are open all the time, but as far as I can tell, they all have poles. |
|
At least in Tampa. The economy down there seems pretty silicone-dependent.

27. They don't here either. |

You have to go to the ABC store. And, unlike when I lived in CT, you can buy beer/wine at the convenience stores 24/7. I stopped at Wawa's one morning a few years back. (had to drop TM at school because her show choir was traveling) and I couldn't believe the people in there who were obviously shitfaced buying more beer.
It was pretty scary. I mentioned it to a friend of mine who is on the police force and he said they would check it out. Hope they did. What a recipe for a disaster.

29. Yeah, all the grocery and convenience stores here have hard liquor, so that was weird. |
|
They did have a fairly decent beer selection though, so we were cool. :toast:

White Sangria. Had it at my favorite restaurant and it was delicious. The only one I could find though, was in a box.
Diluted with some Perrier, it is really, really good.
