Thank you for not asking me not to smoke
This public service announcement brought to you by Jim Shumaker, a great man who kept that sign hanging in his office long after he quit smoking, as a matter of principle.

God bless you Shoe.

2. It's been years since I asked you not to drive
Hell, I drove today. It was cold and raining.

3. It absolutely poured here all day. And, it's frickin' freezin' as well.
Just about the freezing mark, but miserable.

6. But the important thing is what's your opinion of Jim Shumaker?
And why the hell haven't others responded to my rather lame attempt at flame bait?

Have I lost my touch?

7. I like it.
This principle always reminds me of a great Bill Hicks line: "By the way, I do smoke. If this bothers anybody I recommend you take a look around the world in which live, and.......shut your fuckin' mouth."

Kind of puts things into perspective in a way.

8. Shumaker was a brilliant man
In fact, as much as I respect and admire Hicks, Shumaker probably had more of an impact on the world.
