Hey, I'm sorry if y'all have all already seen this. This is a video comparing some things that Clinton has said with some dialogue by the "Tracy Flick" character in the movie "Election." I'm just posting it here because I found it kind of funny, having watched that movie two or three times when I was in high school. I'm not posting it with the intention of pissing anyone off or to "Hillary-bash", and I apologize in advance if this offends anyone. My friend, who sent this to me via e-mail is actually a Clinton supporter, FWIW.

If I hadn't already voted for Edwards that video totally made me want to vote for Obama. To bad they couldn't have worked the opening line of the film in there some how. :evilgrin:

Since political stuff usually just sinks when it's posted in the Lounge, but considering how insane that forum has been lately, I was a little scared. I'd probably make more than a few ignore lists just based on posting that video!

It is pretty funny, though. For some reason, the segment of Obama, smiling, with the Chicago cap on just cracks me up...

The Clinton sound bites are mild in comparison, and don't match the obsessive Witherspoon character.

It looks like a fun movie, but this clip seems a clumsy attempt at either humor or character assassination. There are so many honest bases for Clinton-bashing that this comes off as mean-spirited.
