3. Where you within half a mile of lots of Italian restaurants?
It's only a crime if you pass up all the good Italian restaurants to go there. :P

5. No. I live in an area where the following Italian restaurants are:
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 12:11 AM by EOO
Olive Garden
Romano's
Johnny Carino's

That's it. There's one place called "Cafe Europa" that's pretty good but it is on the pricier side. If I want to eat good Italian food I have to drive to the downtown LA / Burbank area and I already did that once today.

10. What's the deal with the Olive Garden?
I missed what's going on. I keep hearing the Olive garden stuff. Never been there so I don't know whats up. It seems you have to be lactating to go there or something, right? What if your youngest is in college and has finally been weaned?

12. The Olive Garden thing...
Some time ago a thread developed in which someone was looking for an Italian restaurant in the Times Square area of NYC, and someone else recommended the Olive Garden (a large chain restaurant that features Italian-ish food).

The thread went thermonuclear.

There have been other, um, controversies regarding such disparate topics as breast-feeding, loud talking on cell phones, pit bulls, circumcision, and the use of the term "douchebag." Sometimes they all come together in one big, fun-filled thread. But it usually starts with the Olive Garden.

13. All you can eat salad
And I'm not talking about all you want to eat. I really mean all you can eat - as in until you can't eat anymore and then you eat some more.

There's a couple of good restaurants - Fox Fire and Yves Bistro, but those are in the $$$$ - $$$$$$$ range.
