Well, tomorrow we leave this beautiful island.

And, as usual, the last sunset we were able to enjoy was spectacular...
it's funny, how that always seems to be the case, here, in Hawaii.

If there are any good pics I see, after I photo shop them (when I return home),
I might post a couple more later.

7. It's official. I can't sleep. But anyway, welcome to the DU, CL Avenger.

I'm nursing a big toothache and I don't know if God can help. Long story, very boring, probably a cracked molar tooth and I need it to chew. I'm just too vain to get it extracted, and it's too expensive to do implants, etc. so we're trying to save it.

Anyway, I used to live in Hendersonville, NC in 1970 when I was separated from my ex-husband. That was a place where I was a camper when I was a teenager. Gorgeous in summer, but hubby didn't like the area around Asheville because at the time (Knoxville World's Fair year -- 198???), it was not on any direct air links to major cities. Kind of rural, if you know what I mean. They used to read the pig report every morning on WHKP Radio; that was fun! One kind man who ran a general store employed me there for six months so I could support my two little kids, ages 3 and 2.

I'm trying to let some medicine work here. You don't have to stay. I'll just keep typing and meet others on here.

I've always wanted to catch a rainbow shot. The best opportunity I had, to get a really good pic of a rainbow, was on-board the plane as we descended into Maui... but I didn't have my camera out! That was an absolutely incredible rainbow. :hi:

I'm very tempted to wake him up, believe me! But I've learned, after 14 years of marriage to just let him rest!

John Edwards is a good man. He would have made an excellent president. I just have to hope for the best now. What sort of upsets me is how late Texas has its primary. By the time we vote, in Texas, its usually pretty obvious who will be the Democratic nominee. It makes me feel like I don't even have a voice.
