1. That is very funny.
If it were about a third shorter, it'd be even funnier.

2. I agree. It's pretty long.
But I was too lazy to search youtube for shorter versions. :P

4. I'm not a Silverman fan, either --
not by a looooooooong shot. But having Matt Damon in on the joke made it extra funny.

Matt Damon is one extremely funny guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuYD2cwMbpw

5. Yeah she is pretty unfunny for the most part
in my opinion. Matt Damon made the joke work and took it to a whole new level of funny, I agree. The few funny things I have seen with Matt Damon certainly make me agree with you that he is a pretty funny guy.

I don't think I'm a prude (but maybe I am) . . . I just get a vibe that she's trying for shock value
and that takes the funny edge off of much of what Silverman does, for me, anyway.

7. That's why her schtick gets old so fast
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 11:30 AM by MonkeyFunk
she IS funny. I thought she was hysterical at first. But after a short time, you realize that every joke is the same premise - I'm a sweet little girl who says really outrageous things. And the only way she can keep the gag up is to be more and more outrageous.

In four years she'll be doing live donkey shows in a Shirley Temple costume.

10. It's indiscreet for you to tell all of her life plans
before she gets a chance to exploit them onstage.

You, Mr. Funk, are a bad, bad man. ( :loveya: )

6. He really is
I didn't like him much when he first started to get big, but I've seen him on a few talk shows and doing stuff like this, and he really IS very funny. Now I'm a fan.
