I looked at a new apartment today!!!

I've been renting a dingy, dark, small, crappy little house for almost a year now.

I began my search recently and looked at one today, and I think we have a winner!

Upper Flat (Top floor fo a duplex to youse guys who call them that).

built in the 20's
All wood trim in the original dark stain.
Hardwood floor in dining room, carpet elsewhere.
leaded glass in front door.
large fireplace and mantel in livingroom.
built in china cabinets in diningroom
breakfast nook with diner booth
standard kitchen and pantry
2 large bedrooms with ample closets
big bathroom
Several Hall closets for coats, linens, etc.
private Laundry room with washer and dryer.
Balcony with room for chairs, table and grill.
dry large Basement storage
Garage
1/2 3rd floor is usable Attic for storage.
1/2 3rd floor is a finished room for office, kids playroom, extra bedroom, etc.
In the kids' school district.
Can walk to school, park, shopping.

and it's $300 a month cheaper than I'm paying now!

In what part of our fine city is this? What ever happened with the other bookstore location that you were eyeing up?

In any case, we should have another meetup at that bar by where your store is now - can't beat the booze prices there and the mullet-watching is priceless! And, I am sure you'd get some sales from us DUers as well!

a tremendous difference in your state of mind. Even adding a lamp or two can change a person's outlook.

It sounds exciting and pretty - and it costs LESS than the place you're currently in and can't stand?
