What to do with used dental floss? |
|
1. Throw it away.
2. Reuse it.
3. Do what I did as a kid with June Bugs. Tie the ends together, tie it to Chimpy's ankle let him fly me to the moooooooooon......

Any other suggestions?

4. Oh please no!!! One of my cats ate some once out of the wastebasket, |
|
and she swallowed it and then eliminated just about 3 inches of it, and the rest was tangled up in her innards; could have been very bad...

2. If you camp.............. |
|
use it to make fire starters. Take an old egg carton (cardboard kind), fill the individual compartments with the dental floss, dryer lint, and a small amount of wax. Light the thing and it starts campfires in a jiffy. I think I read that in "Ask Heloise" or someplace like that. The closest I get to camping these days is a Holiday Inn Express (my bones are too old for that stuff anymore) but starting fires always used to be a pain. They do work, my brother uses them all the time.
