The beagle has decided she doesn't like orange baby aspirin.
The vegan beagle has an ear infection, is getting antibiotic ear drops, and is supposed to get baby aspirin when she's uncomfortable. She's always LOVED orange-flavored aspirin. The easiest med to give her! Now, she just spits 'em out on the floor. So, I'm heading to Walgreen's for the cherry flavor.

Anyone need anything?

:rofl::rofl:

Pray tell how that works. Most amusing thing I've heard all day. :)

3. There's no joke to "get."
Sorry you thought I was making fun of your beagle's veganism--"amusement" in this case was meant positively, as in "That's unique/charming/fascinating!" rather than "Haha wow--stupid bleeding-heart vegans. Aren't they precious?"

4. Oh, okay. I'm used to the "Haha wow--stupid bleeding-heart vegans. Aren't they precious?"
response, so just assumed. Sorry. But , seriously, the beagle is vegan. She's allergic to eggs, which are found in most processed dog foods, but every vegetarian dog food on the market (that I know of) is actually vegan--no eggs. It helps that I'm veg*n, so I feel good about giving her vegan food. But I've learned to send her food to boarding kennels in plain, large, plastic bags. I've had too many people freak out about her eating vegetarian food, and feed her something else. But, since she can't digest eggs, they get to clean up the mess.

So, yeah, the beagle is vegan.
