if the admins are taking more interest in PMs after some particuarly nasty things had gone on in PMLand a while ago.

Some of those things were bad enough to threaten the existence of the board, and if I were an owner, I would tend to take measures if some people using a system I let them use to destroy it from within.

Oh, it's mods who can only read alerted PMs when they get them in the mod forum. Admins can read anything on the board, as well they should be able to.
