Poll question: I submit that Sunday morning driving is more dangerous that on Fri/Sat night |
|
I live near a few churches and I am terrified of some of the (mostly) elderly drivers who may only drive once a week. Just this morning, I had to evade a blue hair who had pulled into traffic going 5 mph while the flow of traffic was 30-40. All I saw was blue hair and her knuckles on the wheel. I dont think that she could see over the wheel. Someone else honed their horn at her and she just stopped. I feel bad for these people, but maybe their church should engage in a 'ride share' or bus service for those who have no business driving.
Am I wrong? Who is worse Drunk Drivers or Old Drivers?

3. See, that's different. |
|
impaired due to age v impaired due to drinking.
Probably 6 of one, half dozen of another. Don't forget impaired due to being overtired or under medication.
I think the church bus or a share-a-ride program that you suggested is a good one.

If you drive after drinking you're a bastard. No ifs. No buts. You're just a scumbag who doesn't deserve the privilege of having a car. Drive. Drink. Pick one. You can't do both.

6. Old drivers have slower reflexes |
|
but most of them recognize this, and drive slower to compensate. On the other hand, drunks typically drive much faster, and weave into oncoming traffic or miss the correct side of the highway entirely and usually kill everyone they hit.
Silly poll question, imo.
