Equally wierd, something I realized after my parents died but just hadn't thought of before: All of the people with whom you are alive now, of a certain age,will die with you. As large as that number is, and we know we will never meet everyone, that number is still finite.

If everyone who is alive today fails to live to 100, then the prediction will come true. For the few that live over 100, that can be balanced out by all the people who are born in the future but fail to live to 2104.
