7. No, I hate reality shows.
And if you want to see fresh, well-written shows, most of them aren't on basic cable.

3. It's funny, entertaining and fast-paced, but
this second season is a big step down from the first season. Fewer episodes (even before the writer's strike, new episodes were few and far between), two major characters from the first season are now dead, the biggest plot lines have played out, they have been having useless guest appearances such as Victoria Beckham and Gene Simmons, and generally I fear the show has jumped the shark. But every new episode (when they bother to put one on the air) always has lots of fun wisecracks and a few silly situations. The entire cast is top-notch: Ana Ortiz is brilliant as Hilda, Judith Light is a panic as Claire, and who would have guessed that Rebecca Romijn really is a talented actress? You can watch the episodes for free at ABC.com, and it's better to wacth them in order from day 1, so the storylines make more sense.

4. Good idea
I caught the one episode that Betty's sister finally realized that the love of her life was dead.

6. That plot point was a huge mistake on the part of the producers, in my opinion
There was so much they could have done with the character of Santos and his relationship to Hilda and their son Justin. And they just threw away all those possiblities by killing off that character. So this season, instead of meaningful drama along with the comedy, we get paintball fights in the office and Posh Spice. :puke:
