But, I was impressed by the fact that they actually pulled an actor from the Godfather to do that commercial... That was the extent of my impression

71. DQ did it better
Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 07:54 PM by pokerfan
And the fire breathing one is a blatant ripoff of a DQ commercial from a couple of years ago.

Disappointing commercials so far.

I'm mixed on Pepsi Max. It was chuckleworthy but Night at the Roxbury jokes are way played out.

So far Bud Light is winning. Beer baguette was genius.

121. There was a pretty funny one earlier today, for the Family Guy
which used Stewie's head, just the head, and live action football footage, of them throwing passes and running with the ball, but the ball was Stewie's head, and when a player made a touchdown, they spiked the ball (his head) and it went flying away. It made me laugh - I don't know why they aren't showing it during the game.

We cried during the Clydesdale Bud commercial...
And the Chris Katan Diet Pepsi commercial was freaking great.

There are so many cute and funny things that babies do, they could have picked something else.

of 'Fly' where the guy survived (I like a little more gruesomeness...)

102. I thought the commercial with Richard Simmons in it was the best so far.
Just pure absurdity and unexpected, with a wonderfully useless appearance by Alice Cooper and then Richard Simmons just being Richard Simmons.

117. Most amazing?
Madonna getting $10 million for about 10 seconds of her image and song being part of the Sunsilk ad. Rather impressive for someone that always gets characterized as being "irrelevant".

120. It was a complete throwaway.
And yet she got 10 million for Sunsilk using a song that's almost 10 years old, an image that was the cover of her album that is even older, and dancing footage that was a somewhat more current. And people say she's irrelevant.

Usually the commercials are better than the game.
