everybody (all the giants, too) was out on the field thinking the game was over, and he and Coughlin embraced. Then they cleared the field and the Giants had to run one more play, but he was on his way to the locker room and didn't head back.

so they had to clear the field and do one more play. By that time Belichick had gone into the tunnel. I still don't know why they put that 1 second back on the clock.
