2. Do you know what I did today?

I bought a fish tank. I put some money in the bank and my bank is next to a pet store. I got a tank 15 gallons 'high' (the face of it is a square instead of a rectangle) and it has real plants and 4 goldfish. It is so damn relaxing to watch them swim around.

It don't really know why I bought it.. But I am glad I did.

3. Oh, SCORE!!!!

We had a salt water aquarium the whole time I was growing up, and one of my favorite Saturday things to do was watching the fish. Same thing with our koi. VERY relaxing.

6. And the cat really enjoys watching them too...

It isn't my cat, I just let it hang out in the RV and give it food and a litter box.

I tried the salt water thing a long time ago and could never keep anything alive.. I was 13 and didn't really have much to spend on the tank. Goldfish are easy... I can leave for a week and they will be alive when I get back.

9. I'm starting to think the cat is mine..

It is here 16 hours out of the day and I feed it. It has slept with me every night for the last week. Oh crap, I have to start being responsible. 30 years of selfishness might have just came to a end.

My sister has pet insurance on her 10+ pets.. I will see what it costs to add the unnamed cat.

10. Did it have a collar when it showed up at your place?

Some friends of ours just had their boy cat, Pixel, return home after a three-week absence. They had been frantic, since Pixel disappeared shortly before a snowstorm three weeks ago. The put photos of their kitty up all over the county, offered a CHF 2000 reward and even enlisted a psychic to assist with the search. Then, this past weekend, Pixel just showed up at their house again.

I think you'll be a great Kitty Dad, but please try to find out first if he/she might have another home before naming/adopting. :hug: :loveya:

11. No collar..

I did get in touch with my sister. She is going to add the cat to her insurance and pay the monthly fee. Early birthday gift. That makes it much easier to accept the responsibility. Now I don't have to worry about crazy bills from the vet.

And she drools like crazy when you pet her. I will name her "Random" because I am lazy and it works. And in the morning I will work on seeing if she is fixed. I don't want any kittens.

There was even a little snow on the ground in parts of Tokyo today. Brrrr :scared:
