So, I look up at my muted TV, and realize I still have my wireless headphones on.



The infomercial du jour, or por la noche, is on. So, I get to thinking about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Popeil#Inventions">Ron Popeil. That guy is a frak'n genius.

But, no, he didn't invent the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chia_pet">Chia Pet. That would be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Enterprises%2C_Inc">Joseph Pedott. The answer we were looking for was Joseph Pedott.

But that's OK. I still have control of the board.

The TV was muted. No need to wear the Lobot-o-Phones. (They're great for gaming or watching TV without disturbing a significant other in the other room.)

Anyhoo, I reached up to remove them. That's what made me think of the Chia Pets. My hair grows way too damn fast.

So, the solution the universe seemed to be pointing me to was clear. By now, surely, my deep, dark, secret infomercial wishlist item MUST - no, really, SURELY MUST - be on clearance on eBay, right?
