I don't know if this has been posted yet but dvdtalk.com announced that the Star Wars Trilogy is coming out on DVD on 9/21/04. Unfortunately it will be the movies that were re-released in 1997, the ones containing all the extra scenes that just didn't quite fit.
Either way I am excited!!!

I read the press release and it doesn't specify. They might hang onto all the cleaned-up footage but put the movie back the way it's supposed to be, with Han shooting first and all. Or, I could be dreaming.
