4. News Flash

One ZULU float with two flat tires, two Zulu floats broke down. But the coconuts are flying.

LSU had a nice big ole championship float in the Krewe of Argus in Metry!

And so far the weather is holding up, ceptin for a godawful wind.

I have a Zulu coconut somewhere at my parent's house. I got it when I was five.


Glad to hear they're rolling. My boss was down in Nawlin's last week and said the weather sucked. This year marks the tipping point for me...I've officially missed more Carnival's than I've been to. :cry:

I miss Endymion and Thoth. We used to go to those two every year with my dad's dad, back when he was alive.

Sposed to rain this evening but most of the parades should be dry if not windswept. A businessman from Bay St Louis was riding on Endymion and was killed as he got off the float Saturday night and the float ran over him just at the end of the parade.
